About the winemaker
Miguel Lepe studied enology and viticulture at California Polytechnic State University - SLO. He began his career with a few internships beginning in 2009 and has worked across California's Central Coast for various well respected wineries. Also having completed a harvest in Chile, he has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. Miguel's upcoming journey has led him to create his very own wine brand - Lepe Cellars.
Passionate about working with his hands and crafting the finest wines possible, Miguel's hard work and dedication translates to creating the final product through the use of his experience and knowledge gained over the course of his wine career. His vision is to continue producing on a small scale in order to concentrate on the artisanal aspect of winemaking - showcasing the best of Monterey County wines.
